Dijon, at one and a half hours from Paris by TGV train from Gare de Lyon, can be a day trip from Paris or a weekend getaway.
TGV, fast trains make the trip to Dijon from Paris Gare de Lyon in less than two hours.  Paris trains, TGV,  Metro


The Burgundy Canal goes through Dijon.  Bike and walking trails run alongside the canal.
